I'm pretty sure you can if the car is staying auto, i had to put my auto back in for a few weeks while i fixed my manual box and the auto ran fine. However, it could start in any gear (good for a laugh. The car doesn't move while you are cranking it in Drive). Sooo.. Just rang a trans spares place. Switch is/was $55+GST before christmas. The place that makes them shut down before christmas, and hasnt restarted yet : So there arent many around (read : Hes out at the moment).
Grrrr Still, $61 is better than $110 |

AAARRRRGGGG I just read that!!!! I should have gone to a transmision place maybe could have got it cheaper. Just put a new one in today $100 from odin auto parts.
