Does the 'Fairmont Ghia (gold letters?) = XR running gear' rule apply to I6s and V8s, or just one?

Cheers.

The XR6 opted Ghia ( EF & EL ) have the "4.0" part of the sticker is gold instead of silver. A std ghia has all silver sticker.
I don't know about an XR8 opted Ghia's, never seen one.

go an el xr6... maybe im biased! haha
good looks-bonnet vents, front end...
lighter than the mont and lane
3.45 LSD, Stronger tail shaft
already on lower suspension(if thats low enough for you?)
dizzy allows you to play with ignition timing which can be important when playing with cams etc when your still on a standard ECU...
no speed limiter.
cant think of anything else at the moment...

Hey another idea with the money u save buying a normal Fairmont over a ghia , you could make the normal Fairmont quicker, eg. LSD with 3.73:1 gears and full exhaust and big induction scoop. You miss out on a bit of chrome on the interior, but the car should go like the clappers.~
