is the pcv or whatever it is supposed to go from the rocker cover to the idle controller?

its the crankcase ventilation so if there is lpg getting into the oil it goes back into the intake and not out into the air

It's there to prevent LPG from entering the Sump and potentially blowing the sump off.
Im a Taxi mechanic and i've seen it happen. On a petrol falcon the PVC hose enters under the trottle body potentially allowing LPG to enter the engine. Hope this helps.

then there is 1 small problem

i have put a new idle speed controller and it dosent have the hose connection on it

its a plastic plate that goes in between the isc and throttle body...
you just need to re fit it under the isc

no its not the old isc had a hole drilled into it and a hose connection screwed in!

Any LPG place should be able to sell you the little plastic spacer to attach the hose to.

hmmm ok..
well there is normally a plastic plate that goes in between..
someone has drilled and taped in a fitting instead of the plate..
you can get a plate from a lp gas fitter, i know ford sell them for the au's..

The AU plate from Ford is the right one to buy for an EF/EL engine and its not expensive to buy from Ford

i brought the au pcv plate for the gas but the bolt holes didnt line up so had to "edit" it a bit but works good thanks troyman and LP_

didnt line up because it was for my ef i think au's are differnt slightly

yea you need to drill the holes in the plate to use the au one on an ef..

i found out that there is one available for the ef/el from ford but at $70 , best off getting the $20 au one and drill it out..
