Hey guys

i have a 04 BA XT wagon bog stock. other day on way home from work it started to shudder under power like it was missfiring or running on 5cyl. it rev nicley in N but in D anything past 2000rpm it shudder like hell shacking the whole car and down on power.

were should i start looking, thinking plugs etc but no sure as it seems fine at low rpm and does not shake or anything on idle

Most common problem will be coils or plugs. How many kilometers and have they been changed before? The engine will only be noticeable under load, that is why it is only noticeable in drive

its got 179k on it and i took the plugs out they are iriduim plugs but do look fairly old.

can i check the coils with a multi meter? will it let me know if ones is not working
