Hey mark

im most likely looking at getting an engine rebuild next year.

iv been looking around a lot and just read this thread, sounds really good.

if i was to get say a stage 3PS shipped down here i read something about you needing to service it after its installed, would i just get someone down here, maybe the place i get it installed at, to service it?

thanks

Daniel

sorry to bump this thread but when you purchase the kit. dose the engine come with the fuel injection system or do you use the old one off your current engine? also do you require the old engine? cheers. and would a computer upgrade be neccasary for a stage 3PS

You use your existing fuel system - stock injectors are fine for a stage 3 PS and even the stage 4. Engines are done on an exchange basis.
No computer upgrade is required, but if you get something you can tune you'll get more out of it.
I'm putting out 175rwkw on the stock (non tickford) computer and injectors with my stage 4.

Mark I want a commission for answering these questions and referring you customers

Dude, have you read the first half of this thread ? :P

For those local, Mark usually operates a drive in, drive out service.
You drive your car in (or push it  ) and a few hours later you drive out with a new engine. If you want to keep the same engine he can rebuild yours but then your car is off the road for a few weeks while he builds it.

And yes, he does all the E series engines, AUs as well. I don't think he's into the BA stuff yet - but they're not old enough to need pulling down anyway.

Check out the first post - most of the details are there. For any other info give me, err I mean Mark a call

She's back on the road now, but minus the skirts and bonnet scoop and with a stripped out interior. I should have it all back together by the weekend hopefully :)

I don't mind a sleeper, but some looks to back up the performance is always nice too :)
