you take it to a diff specialist, get new bearings, seals fitted etc.

diff work is not for the backyarder.

You might get around the 140rwkw mark if you are lucky.

In reality, until the work is done, and you put it on a dyno, there is no real way to predict the rwkw figure.

An interesting fact is that the first gear in the BTR Auto, is about the same as the 2nd Gear in an EA T5 Manual, which should give you an indication of how much more lively a manual is to drive.

Other suggestions for further work

+1 for BBM conversion
When having the valves etc fitted have the head shaved a bit to raise the compression slightly, but be prepared to run 98ron petrol.

The mods you have listed seem to be the norm for most warmed 4Ls. Don't forget to upgrade your brakes and suspension to match.

Seeing as you are in Sydney, we meet every Friday night at Liverpool, and you are most welcome to come down and say hello.

Cheers
BenJ

Yes, it is better, but, your budget won't even go close.

While a snort kit can be bought for 3-4 thousand, you need another 3-4 thousand after install for all the other stuff you will end up needing, including tuning etc to get it reliable and safe for every day use.

Cheers

yep and even after you manage to get the boost fitted and paid for, thats when other things need attention and all the little gremlins start popping up because the car is now under twice as much stress than it left the factory with !!

But what is Snort Performance on about? They talk about bolt on kits and a pre-tuned j3 chip for there setup for around the $3300 area? Thought that was all that was needed after the turbo kit install?
