Has anyone had any experience with this company and there camshafts ?
www.tighecams.com.au they are based in brisbane.

Website seems to be down atm, but yeah if anyone here has used a tighe cam i'd love to hear your feedback. I'm looking at getting the speedway cam and some headwork to suit. I've got another 4 ish months until I get my license back and want my EF to go hard when I get it back. Should I look at getting the intake manifold ported aswell.

Current mods are Genie Extracters, 2.5" exhaust, DEV 4 cam, Vernier gear, 3.7:1 LSD

Getting a billet shifter soon and my clutch is a PBR XR one doesn't slip doing 2nd gear standstills so it's still good. Also have a unichip not installed yet.

So yeah Ivan Tighe cams.

i have heard their name pop up when things that really go are talked about. i bought one of their billet cams for my escort about 5 years ago. it's still in there and ok, and it made the motor go heaps better.

Very good cams, used many of them on hot motor rebuilds don't know what they have for injected cars though as the ones i installed were for big horsepower carburetted cars running at the drags 8-) :D

bingo :P

Also looking at trying something different, and from the response i'm getting here, doesn't look like people have used these cams in i6 Falcons. They have seven different profiles listed on there website for EA-EF, maybe some of the cam gurus could have a look at the specs and see what they think.
