reset the base timing and idle then go from there. Don't forget its a new chip that has not been tuned to a car.

yes it has been reprogramed but it has not been tuned to your engine.

It was inadvertently programmed with an Auto tune - which will cause high base idle in a Manual (due to missing trans temp sensor amongst other things).

Will be reprogramming it and sending it back out, should work out OK. It's a standard AU engine after all!

Cheers,
Jason

Well a basic Dyno run is usually about $40-60. As T.I.performance want your AFR and RPM on the dyno sheet it may cost a bit more but shop around.

Im not to sure about places in NSW but VIC i can get a basic 3 pass run for about $50.

Good luck.

I'll just add that you don't have to supply a dyno sheet, though it does allow a more accurate tune. There are also non-custom tune chips i.e. XR6, Manual bins etc.

Jason

Hi Campbell,

Yes it will work with the earlier ECUs, but EL ecus are cheap, a good upgrade, and recommended for the reasons stated in http://www.tiperformance.com.au/Technic ... 0EA-ED.pdf .

Cheers,
Jason
