hey just wondering what to try put in j3 chip that is ment to be suited to my wade cam but all it dose is make it run crap and blowes black smoke and all the fuel pump stays on? and all conections to the j3 chip and port are clean

Sounds like it aint programmed properly take it back and get it programmed to suit. Dyno.

also its a 1673 regrind and runs better with out chip

Yeah i dont think the cams the problem. If you take off the J3 chip it runs good then plug it in and its crap, it means its whats on the J3 causing the cars computer to chuck a spaz. Could be faulty or its the software. Get it checked out from where you got it from.

did you reset the ECU after putting the J3 chip in?

Post up a picture of the J3 port on the ECU, we'll tell you if it is clean, looks can be deceiving :)
