just got back from heathcote drags yesterday, there was a EA sedan, slicks, EL XR motor with single turbo and intercooler setup, ran an outstanding time of 10.3 i think was its best,

GOD DAMN this thing was fast, was running quicker than APS's blue VZ ute, which is a weapon in itself, this VZ had twin nos tanks in the back with about 420rwkw on tap, which ran a respectable 10.88 PB.

There was also HPF's XR6 turbo which was running consistant 10's all day long. GO THE MIGHTY FORD 6!

when i went there it was great seeing all the fords running such fast times! i saw a 1968 creamy coloured fairmont with a 351 windsor that looked stock as a rock apart from slicks. i cant remember wat time he ended up getting but dam that thing flew. did u see the black skyline their? i think its a turbo companys car. anyway it ran 10.1 and its still even a manual. lol pretty darn fast.

Yep, the white EA keeps improving.
10.3 from a budget setup is damn good :D

nah i didnt seet he skyline or the fairmont, but there was a crazy a*** mazda thing with a 289 in it, a hk monaro or whatnot that lifted the front runners at least a foot in the air on launching (f**k tuff!).

That EA snapped a driveshaft and blew a tyre at 3/4 track, and also i think there was more to it. damn the white XR turbo sounded mad!

geez, not much luck with the EA, they blew an axle the other day.
looks like the rear end of the EA is on its limit.
