hey guys, just swaped out the old engine for a el tickford engine, everything went fine apparantly, installed the j3 chip, and it runs. but the hunting on it is terrible! it will drop to around 600rpm then jump up to 1000rpm constantly.. we cleaned out the isc and even put a different one on but it still hunts, and also sometimes when it drops revs it sounds like its back firing a little bit, kind of like a loud exhaust knock kinda thing.. bit hard to explain. and one have any suggestions as to what i can do?

also if your ignition timing is to far advanced or retarded it can cause it to hunt..

just started it without the J3 in and it was the same, if not a little worse, and there was a clicking noise coming from the dash, like relays were turning on and off kinda thing without the chip.
