Can you fit a intercooler to a non forced induction i6? i know its a stupid question but just curious

Not sure, I'd assume because the air isn't being forced that the intercooler would restrict airflow. but thats my 2c.

no point on a non boosted car...is there to reduce the very high output temps of superchargers n turbochargers.. so intercooler on na car = no extra performance but extra weight=less performance..

The turbo is forcing air through the intercooler, as opposed to an N/A car sucking through it, as you have suggested.
Result = more restriction = less performance. |

yeh it does having a connected (could have non-connected awaiting forced induction parts that way it still looks horn  ) inercooler setup will actual make you loose performance not anything huge but you will loose power and not just from the added weight.

the only point of an intercooler is to cool down the air going into the engine, but the air blowing over the intercooler is same temp as air going into engine on a na car.
so why bother
