As the title says, and I just have a few queries...
1. Theres a slight dent near where the cat bolts on... Will this make any noticable difference, flat spots or the like? (pics below) and; 2. The tip is looking awfully dull, any ideas on how to clean/polish it up? I noticed Fordfreak did an awesome job on that quad exhaust he picked up, but can't seem to find the thread anymore... And it won't let me see the 2nd page of his posts Anyways heres some pics, any advice would be awesome Thanks |

get some autosol and elbow grease onto that tip and it will come up a million bucks
and dont worry about the dent in the extractors, it looks tiny as so i doubt that you will notice anything at all

gday mate the dent shouldnt really make and diff in flow. as for the tip brasso metal polish or autosol metal polish and alot of elbow grease (Y) will come up like new, when fitting make sure u use all new gaskets!!!!! lol i thought id do the dodgy and get away with using old ones buttt no workie. they look like pacies, you will find a huge diff from stock to these as i have alot more throttle response and pulls harder i believe

The dint will be fine man, Won't make a difference.
As for bringing up the tip, i'd try this metal polish sponge s**t that comes in the little yellow can, i can't remember what its called, but it works a treat on stuff like that. Andrew.

rinse off excess dust and dirt then hit it with a few hundered mills of coke (tip must be cold). rinse a kitchen sponge in coke and use the green side first. rinse and repeat with more coke and use the sponge side to detail.
coke is great for cleaning grime off polished metal. 2 bucks.
