Sometimes when going to start the EB there's a very aggressive knock coming from the bellhousing area, like a surge or something. It goes away around a minute later but it's been slowly increasing over time. What might be causing this? The tailshaft uni's are good, it feels dangerous like somethings loose but it's absolutely fine when driving, no vibrations or anything. Cheers.

Check tightness of some bolts/nuts....like bellhousing bolts, steering rack bolts/nuts, K frame bolts/nuts, g'box bolts, g'box mount bolts, starter motor bolts, etc......

I've checked the torque converter bolts and they're tight, is it possible to get to the flex plate and that without taking the gearbox out? I hope it's not the flywheel. It's only happened when the car is parked ans only on startup, nothing when driven so I can only think it's something that's moving.

Yeah checked those and they were tight, just checked the other bolts such as k frame, crossmember, suspension and bellhousing and are all tight. The sound is coming specifically from inside the bellhousing or possibly the gearbox, goes away after 30 or so seconds after being started up. |

Hey mate only does it in park haha, just put it all back together and the plates hitting the bolts on the converter, sounds great lol. So I gotta take it all apart anyway
