Hey guys
This is going to sound really stupid to all you guys who know what they are doing, but how do you replace the ignition leads on an EL falcon? i.e. remove the existing ones and putting new ones in. Thanks |

If you take the airbox out you should have plenty of room, Its not that bad a job. Just do it one lead at a time

Remove thermo fans, remove air box, remove leads one at a time from a place with bugger all room. I found this to be the best way when doing mine.
Some people may tell you to remove the BBM upper, but this creates a different lot of issues. just remove what you have to, to get access. Fans and airbox should be sufficient.

Don't need to take fans out, just the airbox...replace one lead at a time...mongrel setup..BBM and a dizzy...what were they thinking??????

I have just found that removing the fans allows a bit better access, after all its only 2 bolts and a plug, but otherwise it seams we are using the same method.
Yep Dizzy burried inside the BBM is a royal pain.
