When a ECU learns how you drive dose it only change only the amount fuel you use or dose the spark get altered too?

If it matters EL 6.

afaik it only learns in closed loop mode which is pretty much idle and low end cruising
and only changes fuel map,
the timing is altered if the knock sensor detects pinging but returns back to normal as conditions change.

Ok so If I run LPG on a NON duel fuel EL ECU it wont effect the spark when I go back to fuel?
I am not running a knock sensor
Thou I am running a AU I6 using EL ignition system.

no.. it will be ok. and the ecu usually starts learning closed loop within 30 mins of driving..

I am having some slight pinging issues lately running Vortex 98 even with two bottles of Octane booster I may have to install the knock sensor to see if that helps.
Its fine on LPG.
