Wow! Some nice looking engine bays on here.
Here is my EA's, its a work in progress. I will make it nicer once the car is running. All the loom in the photo on top of the plenum will be gone once I wire in the ECU. |

did you make the intake plenum yourself? Yes, but got a guy with a TIG to weld it up. It now has a K&N filter on it with a top the filters too. The bonnet scoop hasn't been put back on yet, it has a Hornet.

That's pretty nice. A mate in Qld used to have a very nice XF 250 xflo. Camtech cam, pacey's, redline manifold. He had that same sorta filter top, but never got it fitted. Was 11" diameter, he also had the base plate, but could never find a K&N filter in 11". Only 9" x 2" and 14" x 2".
He too had a 600 Holley on it, but swapped it for a 450 or 465 (can't remember) 4 barrel as it ran better. The 600 was really good up top, but the 4XX was much better on the street. It ran a 15.24 at 9X.XXmph. |

Here's a couple of new shots of mine ...with new self-made SS heatshield covering my ugly, raw JMM extractors...
Looks a bit 'trippy' now ...but definitely tidier
