The Standard throttle body is already more than large enough. But if you must I think SS inductions make one. Nice looking AU BTW.

Tidy AU. I think it's the choice of wheels that make it.
Those spokes have the right shape and curve on the face that follow the whole presence AU's have. EDIT: JUST GOT YOUR PLATES>.... SLEEPER?!! Last edited by locknut on Mon Nov 19, 2007 8:49 pm, edited 1 time in total. |

I wouldnt do the throttle body, unless you've done full exhaust, intake, cam, flash tune etc... Dont waste your money. Tis a nice car.

SLEEPER?!! cheers mate, definately agree, the rims couldn't suit any better, i did have a set of TAK 19" that were very similar but with a longer black lining up the spokes and diff stud lining inbetween, they had a small edge over these ones, but buckled the front right avoiding an accident and that style was discontinued so these were the closest i could get! killer having to replace all because of one! and yes for the plates, sleeper was the aim there

Ive done all those things, just wondering if it is much of a gain to do so or not really worth the cash or trouble

Woah I just had a look too, awesome looking setup you got there, I still don't think a bigger throttle body would do much though. Up the boost maybe.

i wish i could! cant change the pulley size on the powerdyne chargers so im running at all it has to offer...9psi... wasnt thinking that far into the future, and vortech would have burned a much bigger hole in my pocket at the time!

www.gcg.com.au Still they're bout $7-800, porbably not worth the money for a few kw. Whats done to yours and how does it run? Any problems? Any dyno sheets? Sorry, about to sell mine for xr6t cos i didnt wanna force my motor.

yeh im a big fan of the xr6t myself, few of my mates have them and they seem to rip very hard with little mods ive got the s'charger, water injected, intercooler, done injectors, cams, fuel pump, 2 1\2 inch cat back exhaust, extractors, air filter, intake, sports suspension and thats about all, with unichip, tuned at autotech in sydney runs very well for daily driver and plenty of go when needed, average around 11-12L/100km, no real problems.....about 220rwkw should have an up to date dyno sheet by the wkend, due for a re-tune and getting new diff gear ratios, current 3.08, changing to 3.73

The diff gears are your best bet. Your takeoff will be heaps better. Not being stupid, but id put your car on the giggle gas next. My evo ran high 11's then 11.2 with a small shot, dry system straight into the intake. You wont get any decent bang for buck mods after what you've done without getting a bigger s/charger.
