i am about to start a rebuild for my 95 ef Gli it runs duel fuel and thats the way it will stay i hav pacemakers, stage2 crow cam, K&N filter, oversize snorkle in the current engine producing 130rwkw on 91oc and 127rwkw on pump gas at the moment all the proformance parts will be used with the new one once its finished i hav also just brought a crow cams adjustable timing sproket to add once complete. (the rebuilder is another base engine not XR6)
what i am after is some ideas to improve the engine in the end such as match porting the intake and exhaust, port polish and open them up a bit and i might even go through and take out the cast marks in the block to improve oil flow? what else should i look at doin? and what sort of power output should i get at the end? any ideas will be a help STADIC |

Have you read through the articles on Jim Mock's web site? They have a lot of information on the I6 and what various mods do. Also, there's a guide in this section (6 Cylinder Workshop) on 3.9/4.0L mods.
How much money do you want to spend?
