Hi, thinkin about buying one and just wondering what should i be looking for as im only familiar with EF's

Were some 3.9L & some 4L ? Something about MPFI, is that the intake with all the long runners? Basically what things am i wanting in this car that could have or should have been optioned out with.

Looking for power and and will also be chopping it up and stripping as far as it can go, for drag meets only.

How hard is it to convert to MPFI?

EA's were 3.9 and 3.2 (The 3.2 was a short lived POS). The 3.9 was available as MPFI and CPFI.....MPFI being the better of the two.

It looks like i might ditch the early eseries idea and start with an elcheapo EF cause of the extra 10-20kw.

Anyone know the standard 1/4 mile time for a MPFI EA 6cyl? Manual & Auto?
