after a long drive (engine fully warm) when i park the car, i end up with about .5 to 1lt of water on the ground.... it seems to be coming from the overflow tube...

I have recently changed the thermostat (to a hotter one), changed a few hoses and given the system a flush....

I am not expecting a cracked head as it only does it when its switched off.....seems to be heat soak related....

temp guage is sitting in the normal range (but weve been getting cold days lately so no real test for the system).....seems to be loosing a very small amount of coolant slowly

could it be semi-blocked radiator? thermostat related? or radiator cap?....cant see how anything could cause this....

to me it sounds like maybe the radiator cap not holding pressure..
or the dreaded head gasket.. exhaust gasses pressurising the cooling system..

i would try the rad cap first though..

Yeh, either the spring in the cap is shot, or your leaking exhaust gas into your coolant somewhere in the head.
Milky oil yet?

cap or possibly the thermostat housing weap. doubt it would be a blocked radiator as you would have a lot more problems if it was
