Hi folks, the LPG forum doesn't seem to exist any more so I will post this here:

I need urgent info on Australian Standard AS/NZS 1425, LPG installation for motor vehicles.

In particular, I need to know if there are any requirements for the fixing of the supply line going to the converter, specifically if there is any mention of the distance between the fixing points.

If anybody has a copy of the above standard, I would be eternally grateful for a copy of the relevant section.

The standard says service line must be clamped at intervals of not MORE then 600mm. Personly I try to clamp at 300mm intervals.

The converter lockoff will need to be bracketted as well.

O.k., thank you very much snap0964. This I assume applies to both rigid (copper) and flexible service lines.

Yes.
Is the service line going near the exhaust ? - I forget the min clearance, but stretch your thumb and pinky out, clench your middle 3 fingers, that's your min clearance guide.
Within that, you'll need heatshields.
