You guys need some facts fast!!!

I get almost exactly the same economy from petrol and gas. Maybe 30 k's further from 60 litres of petrol over gas...

My modded V8 makes exactly 4 rwKw less on gas than petrol... Tested back to back on the same dyno on the same day. That's about a 3% loss at the real wheels. On the drag strip, gas was about 0.3 of a second slower.

So after saving 66% at the petrol station, I'm 3% down on power and 2% slower down the quarter. Pretty bloody simple really. But if you want to listen to uninformed rumour, inuendo and foolishness, then by all means buy a fooly seeek sub woofer moite! (j/k - I have one myself!!)

hi there, im in nz and have lpg in my xf fairmont. its got an octane rating of 105 minimum which is the same as avgas. im paying 90c a liter for the lpg or over $1-60 for 95 octane. its dual fuel which is handy tho. yeah sure it takes up room in the boot but iv still got room for my spare tyre and sub and room for what ever else i want. (it holds 70 litres of lpg so its not a small tank either!) duel fuel is the way to go if you want cheap running for your ford!!
