last time ngk xr6 plugs, ZGR6B-11, were given to me for the el when i asked for el dual fuel plugs, this time at a different store the person gave me just the standard ngk plugs for el's, BPR5EY-11.
what are the correct plugs to use in an el dual fuel? ZGR6B-11 or BPR5EY-11 or other

Well with LPG you are ment to go 1 range colder than the standard plugs and give it a smaller gap. Well thats what we do at work

take em back. for LPG should go one heat range colder, most just use the Tickford/XR6 plug.

The E-Series motor uses an unusual really long reach plug. The ZGR6B-11 is the XR/LPG plug, its slightly shorter in the center electrode. The BPR5EY-11 is a standard style plug, the "Y" indicates a V-groove on the center electrode.
Everytime the electrode is shortened it is like retarding the timing. |
