I got my p's yesterday and had noticed the fuel economy in my car is shocking how does 60+L of LPG for a moderate 210-240km's sound??Shocking! it lags, more then any other LPG car i have seen. I tink the problem is that it was tuned at 30,000km's and now that it is an ex-cab 666000 it hasn't had a tune and the settings are mixed.
My question is should i take it down to a lpg tuner so he can moderate my settings and all? Can someone give me some hints on who the good tuners are? How much? How long? ow much in advance should i call? And will i see better economy and less lag? Thanx in advance

Any gas place can tune it for you, a new set of spark plucg are always a big help. I noticed a big difference after getting mine done

Theres suposed to be a little device located on one of your hoses which goes from the converter to the TB and you can adjust the leanness and richness of your gas system.
Either turn it anti-clockwise or clockwise depending on which you want to achieve. ATM my car is running very lean as im getting about 500+kms easily from a full tank of gas 60L roughly. Performance has somewhat subsided to as a result of this. My personal opinion would be to take it to a specialist, if you really have no idea what you are doingthen this is the best way. As i have been suggested the same thing.

I dont know about up there but i take mine to hallam performance and it costs me $50 to get it tuned up and also i get a power run out of it
Usually it take approx 30 mins. that reminds me, i gotta take mine back there soon and get it done again and find out why it is running WAY WAY WAY too lean at idle

I've got a 68L tank (i think)
Any ways got it tuned today cost $46.50 hehhee... straight after i took it out i noticed that it had a bit more oomph, and im eagerly awaiting to see the hopeful increase in better fuel economy.

see now wasn't it better to get it "tuned" up right?

hehhehe The car when the bloke was adjusting the pin it didn't do nothing, hahaha... the cap (or what ever it's called) was extremely dirty it was replaced and the oc reading went from 17% to 1.6%!!!!! <..... not very sure what this is, but i was explained it's the gas going in, it was running WAY too rich. BTW does any one know, is it just a matter of playing around with the pin for a richer idle (more fuel) to achieve a bit more grunt?

That's bad. I get around 540-560km from 74L of LPG.

basically that pin or manual adjust will make the mixtures throughout the rev range rich and increase fuel econ without a substantial performance increase
same goes with petrol i can squirt in twice as much fuel if want but i wont get twice as much power. . . the gas palce should have put a sensor in the exhaust pipe to tell how much gas was being burt etc and depinding on the exhaust emisions they can tune the gas system to optimum
