Ay kids!
Any1 no anything about magna injectors being Hi flow? I know there commonly used on 5ltrs coz they pump more than stock injectors and r way cheaper than "Real" Hi flows but what about runnin then on an I6? thats got like a cam or sumthing that would benefit from Hi flow injection? Any1 know why a stock magna 4cyl would need this sort of injection?

sound like it would be really cheap. Im guessing your talking about the later model Magna's like the TEs and the au light like shaped one.

i remember reading somewhere that the flow rate isnt all to much higher, but the magna injectors (v6 by the way) have a much better spray pattern

TR magna injectors (blue tops) flow 21lb with the standard 275kpa reg compared to 19lb for the standard injectors. Using an XR6 fuel reg they flow close to 24lb.
These are the same injectors used on saloon cars (they run them at 320kpa) They are straight swap, they fit the fuel rail and the electrical connections are the same. You will want to get teh ecu retuned though.

And another question what sort of rwkw will the stock ef i6 injector be good for?.Do you think bye putting these in a standard car will make any difference to the performance?. Thanks Mark |

Thanks Mark The ones from 4 cyl TR magnas You wont really get a performance gain unless your stock injectors are really maxing out. Even then it starts to lean the engine out which usually means more power. Going to a bigger injectors will keep a good safe AFR so you might actually lose a bit of power (but your engine will be much safer). Ive seen stock injectors hit max out at 140rwkw, but I have also seen them supply much more powerful engines without leaning out. Best bet is to measure your duty cycle and see what happens. Before I put the MS2 and magna injectors in, my 19's were maxing out at 4500rpm. They now hit 96% at 5500rpm. Ideally you want about a 20% safety margin so mine are still too small.
