I think thats a bit exagerated... you'd be lucky with 4rwkw IF you had other mods such as extractors, exhaust, separate cold air feed to air box etc. But still, looks nice if nothing else :)

When I get one, i dyno it again, and compare it to my initial dyno run. I would be interested to see what the actual gain is.

It is very difficult to measure the gains on a mod like this. You would need to replicate the exact same conditions - eg engine temp, air temp, humidity and so on. These items alone could add or lose a couple of kw. Dont worry about the exact gain but just know that anything that flows air into your intake smoother and quicker has to add a couple of kw.

still waiting for the vendor to supply these goods.
the company i was using has decided to shut up shop and is selling all his equiptment. one of the employees has taken on this job for us. He is in the middle of setting up his workshop so he can manufacture them.
He has told me he is keen to get them done as he wants to invest some money into his equiptment.

i will keep you all posted.

i would like one to if it does increase power over the whole power range even if it is only as little as 2kw.
it would be a good idea to have 2 cars demo (1 stock with improved air cleaner and exhaust to benefit extra intake flow,1 hotty) and do immediate back to back dyno runs when changed.
with dyno printouts to show results.

why didn't FORD just make a simple intake like it instead of going through all the hassel like what is fitted?

if you would like i will look into how much it would cost me to have the back to back dyno run's.
so i can evaluate when i could afford it done.
and if you would like to send me a intake pipe (free of charge) my car can be your stock with improved air cleaner and exhaust platform test car XR6 5spd 2.5 cat back redline panel filter (i am also nearing to have fitted comp pacemakers)

if not i will just purchase from you when you have some positive feedback or dyno results.

Read back a few pages for how to put your name down + what colours they're being offered in....

I think they were $185 from memory. Considering others sell em for $300+ that's still good value.
