And this is the JMM one

Why so long I don't know, the angle would be the same if it was bent around where the first join is. You'd think it'd pick up head from the extractors...

So put the heat shield back on - shame to cover them up though - they're purdy.

edit: Oh and these new intakes how are they better than the stockie? larger diam? smoother inside? just rice?

a thread on ford forums has a newbie faq which has images of a number of mandrel intakes.

http://www.fordforums.com/showthread.php?t=79307&page=2

a good idea would be to get a copy of the Street Machine or whichever magazine it was that has an article about this a few years ago where I think they found about 10hp by doing this mod and copying the desgin of their intake as closely as possible!!!

At a complete guess, I would say that the extra length has something to do with reducing turbulence due to the 180 deg bend.

I would be interested in one as well, but would depend on your final design. I would rather pay a bit more and get a little more if you know what I mean.

I would like one please, any ideas on weight so I can figure a price to get it over here in Kiwi land. Powder Coated White would be the go.
Cheers
