Cant do strut braces...

Dont have struts as such!!

(or so the lads at fulcrumn reckon)

Is it not more accurately, that the struts dont take the load?

I actually forgot to ask the fellas at Fulcrum when I was in there the other day if they were possible. Oh well at least I got prices for the important stuff like super low springs, bilstien shocks and whiteline adjustable sway bars all for a lovely cost of $1700.

So what other things can be made up for our Fords? I'm not interseted in chrome for my car, just some more bolt on performance will do.

Also has anyone done a dyno run comparing any performance gains from the intake pipe yet?

How about a mass strut brace run. Could get red to match intake and would be piss easy to do. Never seen them advertised anywhere.

    Shoot me please    Might just hook a coat hanger across to my bonnet struts and paint them red :? :? :?

You will have to post a pic of the coathanger strut brace
By the way fellow bonnet cutter. I fitted the felt sound deadner back up & its moulded around the pipe & is showing no signs that the bonnet had been cut.

Good stuff. Saves cracking the paint trying to bend the brackets.

UPDATES ON ARRIVAL
For EL owners note:
Throttle body opening is an OVAL shape measuring 85mm at its largest point. So you will need a small amount of tube to connect the intake to your TB - You will also need to block off the PVC Valve hole on the intake
Autobarn have nothing for us EL owners. Try Purple Pig!

So you EL owners are you just filling the pvc whole with silicone?
i was going to try to weld it up but i dont want to kill the paint and my welding could be a bit rusty lol.

I am going to autobarn tonight to try to find some 3" pipe and clamps.

Mako, you can get a small plug for the pvc outlet. I went to Bunnings and got some rubbers that are used as chair ends! That works fine.

hmm i just remembered that a new autobarn opened near my work (mornington) and thats right near bunnings...
so i need some 3" pipe and clamps... which is about 75mm (hmm front pages says max of 83 for EL??)
so can anyone tell me the size for the pvc pipe? since the intake is at home... :( im guessing 25,30mm but yea.

saves me going shopping tomorrow and cutting into my drinking time!

My intake arrived and I picked it up today. Looks good so far, haven't fully unwrapped it yet, still need to install it. Need to head down to Turbo Tech to get some 3" rubber. 8-)

Just got my intake and it looks great. Im a little confused as I thaught they came with the peice of flexy pipe that joins the two pipe segments together? as an EF owner I dont have one (only two smaller ones)
