I fitted mine today to my EL, went in without needing to modify anything. Looks great :D I used a 3inch to 3 inch rubber tube to connect the intake up to the T/B with clamps on either end of the tube.

Hi guys,

Where do you get the rubber pipe bend bit from ? The one closest to the water resevoir.

See I went to bunnings but they only had it in like over metre long sections.

Is the normal factory one big enough ?

Good stuff. So that should be identical to the AU then.

I think I'll get stuck into putting it on tomorrow then.

Might be two if I keep having trouble with 'rubbing' on mine.

I've cut the hole in the bonnet. I've also shaved off 10mm from where I bolt the intake too. It's now scratched the intake a 3rd time!

I'm out of ideas.

I even got Brett4777 to take a look and he left scatching his head!

Will post pics up tomorrow morning

have you tried bending the brackets. I had to with mine, just put it in a vice and cover the bracket with a towel or somethin the wack the crap out of it  . I had to bend the bracket so much it was nowhere near lining up with the hole so i got another piece of metal bracket and bolted that to the other bracket then to the car. I just spray the bracket and bolt silver, you can't even tell. Just be sure not to bend it too much as it will rub on the car engine itself. I will post some pics tommorow if this will help.

By the way, am i the only person to notice the difference with the new intake. I seem to have alot more throttle response now then i did before. Or is it just me???

Fitted a pod up. It gives a bit of a sucking niose when booted but it delivers more throttle response than the BMC panel filter or the standed Ryco as I have tried the 3 types of filters & the pod feels the goods.
