Nar mate, your not alone. I wouldn't say i have more power, but it definatly pulls harder up high in the rev range, doens't seem to run out of puff after 4000-4500rpm now. Seems to rev cleaner right through the rev range :)

These are scratches caused by the hole I had to cut in the bonnet AFTER I had covered the intake with vaseline to see where it rubbed. The third scratch on the far right is the latest to appear. Its like the intake is shifting!

Anyone with one painted it?

If so how'd it go?

I'd be looking at painting one body colour.

I have finally installed mine. It took 30 minutes, I took my time as I had some kinda loose screws on my intake manifold at the base of number 5 and 6 cylinders.
But the intake, she lined up perfectly all round so I want to thank personally everyone at Falparts and everyone involved in creating this intake. For modeling it, and measuring it exactly based on my particular EF Fairmont. I think you'll find that all 30, were based on the measurements of my car, and all would fit my car perfectly
Nothing was bent in the making of this story

Although like everyone else's, the back edges of the top of the intake does touch the bonnet sound proofing. I have driven it and started it cold (rougher start), and still bare no scratches. But I think, even the old EL intake touched the sound deadener in that area, not much that I can see, that can be done about it. Pictures to come 8-)
