Ive got two things on the agenda, wade cam and T5.
One I can do in the near future, the other I cant afford for a while. I think you can guess which is which. If I got a cam designed for a manual, and ran it in my auto what kind of problems could I expect, or vice versa.. I think the main difference is idle quality but im just wondering how bad it is.

i know people who have manual cams in there autos.
it can struggle to idle when u have all ur electrics on (stereo/lights/thermofans), so you will have to use the old heel-toe to keep her running, But any other time its fine! Go for it! |

you shouldnt have too much problem with the idle you might just have to manually adjust the idle a bit

What do u mean manual cam or auto cam. They are both the same there are just different profiales. Alot of companies say stage 3 is better for manual but all u have to do for a auto is fit a stall converter and tranny cooler. There is no manual or auto cams. the is tubo and n/a cams though.

there is ones designed more speciafically for autos , e.g. the 1604.

For each profile ie 'stage 3', you can get ground specifically for manual or auto. The difference is minor and mainly affects idle quality.

I’ve only heard of one person who put a wade cam in their car and couldn’t get it to idle anymore, but I’m sure he had other issues that affected it. Generally most people don’t seem to have too much problems with the cams, but if you have an auto just go the 1604 profile, should be fine.
