hey fellas,

do i need to change the ecu on my ed fairmont wen i convert it from auto to manual? or will it run without problems with the same ecu?

changing it is best, but you can make to auto ecu work but you will need to fool the ecu into believing that the car is in neutral and that the box temp is normal.

yeh mine is tricked into thinking its in neutral, isnt it a bit of the loom u need to replace mitch

will this "trick" have any effects on performance, i.e the motor thinking it has no load on it, (not in gear)???
