Cheers Manual Fairmonts are pretty common...so nothing different The interior is still the same...just different shifter having the boot and different gear stick to the manual surround. Sorry no picture.

However peak hour traffic can be a pain in the a**.

I have a manual Eb Fairmont Ghia, converted it myself and i dunno about it being better for towing with the manual. I have a feeling Ford rate them at 1300kg for the manual & 2300kg for the auto with heavy duty tow pack. With a stock clutch, even when it was really good, i had slip issues when taking off.
I now have a pbr/clutch industries heavy duty clutch in mine, and have found that is really good for towing. Had car trailers on the back with Fairmont's, Xr8's and so on and had no issues at all with clutch slip. I still have the heavy duty tow bar on the car, the ghia was factory spec'd with the heavy duty tow pack. Interior doesn't look much different, except you don't find the Tbar shifter in it, i have the manual gear boot & console surround. Cheers ToranaGuy

Auto bell housing - no.
Get a bellhousing with your gearbox. Parts you will need. T5 gearbox inc bell housing Flywheel, clutch & pressure plate to suit flywheel (there are 2 main types, 3 & 6 bolt) Idealy a new clutch & pressure plate Clutch cable Clutch Peddle New clutch peddle bushes (cheap) Maybe a new clutch peddle spring Manual peddle box or a clutch pin like a mal wood pin (or even home made) Manual gearbox wiring loom (or modified auto loom) Manual ecu if you using manual gearbox wiring loom (or J3 chipped auto ecu with manual program) New Spigot bearing New Thrust / realease bearing Possibly a new clutch fork if a s/h one isn't in good shape Easiest way to do the conversion is to get the whole lot from 1 car. Cheers ToranaGuy
