Dave (EL XR8) was pumping about 200rwkw through his and drove it hard, it saw plenty of quarter mile passes and alot of street kms, and it is still holding up well. He never used a hardcore clutch in it though, that was always the 'fuse' in the driveline. Yeah happens to a lot of guys with rexies, they get sick of clutches blowing so they put in a hd one and then the gearbox goes. The best thing with a forced auto is it shifts quicker so you lose less boost and the tall 1st in the BTR allows it to build power a bit getting off the line, rather than spinnign everywhere. |
