i actually had the opposite problem after converting to manual, even using a manual ecu.

Really bad rev hang between gear changes..... the car would actually speed up if you dropped it back a gear to coast to a set of lights.

The only thing that finally fixed it was a custom tune at Chiptorque, where they said they "tapped into idle/fuel settings in the ecu which they dont normally touch"
