Workshop manual says D2 fluid and 2.05L.

So just find some ATF that's Dexron 2D

i was led to believe it was a combination of two fluids :?: .... can anyone else confirm or shoot it down :lol:

Here's what Tremec recommends. Don't forget a tube of Nulon friction modifier or similar before adding the ATF. Dexron III is ok as well.

Aren't they premixed and already containing the additives?

Yeah I run Dexron 111 without any hassles.
My workshop manual just says Dexron 11 fluid.

isn't the V8 version same box??? ..... it uses SHELL- XGO 75/90 gear oil

that's what i have for my diff lol couldn't imagine that in my gearbox, don't think I'd be able to get it into gear!
