hadn't had anything done to mod the engine and the motor seemed to hesitate in the mornings. it doesn't do it hardly at all anymore (after replacing the entire ignition system, which i thought helped. turned out the mechanic didn't get the timing right and he reset it bt driving it, not using a timing light.)
but it sounds and feels a bit iffy again and shakes a bit at traffic lights. should i see if i can get the timing adjusted again? and what can make the timing go out if the dissy wasn't touched in the first place? Cheers

depends what work you got done.. if you changed a cam or timimg chain or anything it could have jumped a tooth on the dizzy gear.. shakes and all that sounds more like fuel problems than anything but i might be wrong..

just get hold of a timing light and do it yourself. I wouldn't pay a mechanic to check the timing. A cheap timing light is about $40 from supercheap.
