Hey guys, I have a 2006 Bf XT 5 speed manual. I've done a custom exhaust on it so far. I'm in the process of getting some xr6 suspension to make it sit lower and sportier. I was wondering what mods you guys have done and what you suggest I do (P PLATE LEGAL). I haven't bought the suspension yet but will be soon. I'm thinking of welding the diff if i cant find a used xr6 lsd. I have not got new extractors yet but the rest of the car is stock. Thanks in advance for your help! (I will be doing the mods myself)

A welded Diff is not legal or a good idea. There are better options that wont break anything.

What could I do besides getting an lsd? In my area there are none. No wreckers have any xr6/8s I think one had an fg? But we didn't know about what diff ratios they were?

The diff center is all you need for an LSD. There are also lockers of different types. Mechanical, Air and Electric. If you put in an LSD there is no sign you have one. Some insurance companies want to know about that sort of stuff. With a 2nd hand Car, how could you know what was fitted ?
