Sign me up. I'm another who wants a PCM and wiring loom for a DOHC Turbo into EF.
I can sort the K frame myself, though every auto sparky I speak to isn't interested in wiring up a DOHC in my EF. A ready to go flashed PCM and wiring loom would be awesome.

When you have this sorted for a EF/EL Ghia, with functional ABS and climate control you have a customer here waiting.

It can but better off just to get the correct PCM & flash the security out of it. We can organise the PCM for you?.

hey mate, sounds like this'll be very popular,
So this will not need any input from the cabin - eg. dash, bem etc?
the reason i ask is i have been considering putting my BA motor into a capri/escort/anglia for sometime now (still have to finish a few other projects first)
so i really only need the engine to operate alone, no climate control or anything, i have an auto and a manual box here, plus both engine looms, and both pedal boxes, though i'd prefer to be runnning the manual.. depends how things pan out when i get to it.

My question, provided i run the standard BA fuse box to the ecu, will it all be ok?
cheers

Hey mate, You don't have to even use the BA fuse box just give power to the PCM & flash it & she will fire into life.

hey mate, sounds good.
How do you plan to have power connected to the ECU? Do I supply you with the cable that connects into the back of the ECU from the fuse box, as well as the engine harness? Or do you just figure out which pins i need to connect power to and go from there? I still have all the wiring I would need (from memory)

But yeah I'm not in a massive rush, but am definately keen when i have completed a few other cars on the list.
Cheers,
MaTTe

Hi Guys, I am looking to put a late model six with a manual into my XB ute, I have got a lot of info so far from "DA22LE". I was thinking if I go to all this effort why not a BA donk.
Fitting the donk into the engine bay etc, I can handle but the wiring is where I'll come unstuck.
I can get all the wiring and computer from a wrecked car without hassles. I did read that I'd need the throttle pedal as well and I should be able to fit that without problems.
Believe it or not I'm doing this for the fuel economy and reliability, not the power increase as I'll be doing approx 5000kms a month in driving and this is a good way to keep my ute. Also will old school guages be ok to run with the system as I like the dash that's in it now.
any help would be great.
Don
