The sticky posts above would answer most of your questions..

2nd hand extractors go from $150 up to 499 for new.

Do the usual.. exhaust, intake (pod filter) and if you want more, then go the lumpier cam.

lowering can cost as little as $100 if you get a set of second hand springs and fit them yourself witch is easy.
tinting tail light and side repators with night shade makes a great differents.
i went the way of lowering and im staying away from body kits as i like the shape as it is.
i suggest you lower your car before looking at a kit.
a nice set of wheels can make the car look sweet.
have a look though the members gallery to see what people have done visualy.
good luck and post up some before and after pics when you do your mods.

got the tints done for me, make sure you get a mob that will do a good job and use good tint, or you'll do your block

find a fordmods member with a set of spring clamps, for a set of springs and a slab, your set.

all 4l motors put in el's after feb 98 had the au style parts put on the block. makes changing the cam a pain.

an xhorst and extractors are the best thing you can do right now. get a bit more fuel economy out of the thing.

theres a sticky in the 6 cyl mods section on all this stuff too.

tis cool bro,

if the chassis plate is june 98, au stuff in it. its just the cam and rocker tho

cheap tint could equal bad things, been warned!

get a haynes manual and a set of spring clamps. after buying the springs you'll be ahead. the manual will come in handy and then take it to pedders for an alignment.

my tint cost 250

head gasket only when NEEDED! when she goes, you'll know its gone. and when its time to take it off, save and get a port job at the same time.

if your not sure what your doing, buy the springs and take them to your friendly local mech during the next service, he might be able to put them in

i didnt find it that easy when i did mine...the rears were easy but fronts werent

I think i did it the wrong way....I put the bottom of the shock in then tried to get the top into position....thats after i disconnected the tie-rod and removed the top arm...

i think it might be better to put the top of the strut in then the bottom
