Just wondering if anyone has the contact details of the bloke who used to sell the AU motors on ebay with the modified sump?
He doesn't seem to list them anymore.

but if you mean au motors with modded sumps and alternators fot about 600 bucks then they are the guys

Hey there.These are the guys.
They quoted me $650 with modded sump/alternator ready to go.
They are on holidays though as old_mate said.

I think they charge $200 - $250 for the modified sump by itself!

A cabbi mate picked one up with a auto gearbox for only $650 from a wrecking yard. BTW it only had 80,000kms on it.

far out, my mechanic told me i need a head gasket and may as well get a reco head and he'd charge me over a grand, if i can get a whole engine for less ill do a swap instead :p

thanks guys i found him and have given him a ring so its all good.

yeah thats not a bad price for a near new motor..I bought a 99model au motor for 200 from a wrecker..only done 100000 and im currently taking it apart and looks brand new! Cylinders still have the hatching and the main bearing have no sign of wear at all...
