anyone watch myth busters the other weak? they had an old v8 engine and it was runnin like s**t so they mixed mothballs in with the petrol and it cured the problem and ran fine! appentrly mothballs r a good octane booster! but i wouldnt reccomend it in ur I6's

ha! yeah i watched that episode, but youve gotta understand tha tthey used what is essentailly pure paradichlorobenzene, which is indeed a combustable material.

Don't use the Safeway Mothballs, they're so a*** that an engine will s**t itself within minutes. You're better off putting Jack Daniels in there, but then agina that would be a waste!
