hi ive finished my mpfi convertion but it wont start.on the tutorial it says to cut the grey/white wire near the idle motor plug and extend it upto the main loom plug and add a pin on the end.then put it into the so that it lines up with the grey/white wire on the mpfi loom.does this need to be done i would have thought that just swapping to a mpfi loom on would be okay.if it does need to be done then what exactly is the idle motor plug?

The isc plug will not cause the car to not start. What does the car do, does it crank over with spark(if so it's your dizzy, probably 1 cog out, retarded timing too much).

If no spark then do you have a little pink wire down near the throttle body that isn't connected.?

You hooked up ya fuel lines the right way?
