i have a 97 el 6 cylinder thats dead stock with 225kms and i fitted a msd blaster ss coil to it today, i took it for a drive after fitting it (in the rain) and i must say it definatly feels like its reving out a lot easier and off the line seems to pull a lot better (spins the wheels easier to! not that i condone that behaviour ). overall im happy and would recommend it to others. cheers

it was $105 new including delivery from a company on ebay.i mounted it on the inner guard were the washer bottle normally is. the washer bottle will be taking a trip to the boot, hopefully soon to be joined by the battery. was easy fitment (took less than 1 hour). hardest part was prob trying to access the original coil wiring to cut the end off and solder some twin core in there.il try to post a pic tomorrow.

my cars decently worked to 150rwkw do you think the improvment of the msd coil and amplifier are worth it. or would the change in power be the same modified and un modded

i does seems to be a bit better (seat of the pants feeling) and im gona get 1 for the missus ute (98 xh 6cyl manual with extractors & full exhaust) i imagine its gona be better with the 6a/6al amplifier. for the sake of $105 and an hour of my time im happy with the results so far.
