ive had people as me if i was beeing cheeky and did a badge swap, they wouldnt believe it was a 6 on idle, but mine is cammed as well though

why pay for a branded system? just go to your local exhaust joint, ask them to rip the old one off from the cat flange, and just get a 2.5' piece of metal pipe and bend it around to suit, add hot dog pre-diff to get a bit of bass in your exhaust note. mine cost me 300 odd, and although the sydney boys say its a tractor, they are all just haters. they wish they could be heard coming from a few km's away and set every car alarm in westfields off on christmas eve with a single 6000rpm shot :D
i left in a hurry...

I put a redback 2.5 inch catback system on my manual ef2 xr6 last week.I got the single straight through muffler at the front and had a hotdog resonator fitted to rear section.Paid $340 fitted with new mounting rubbers and chrome tip.It has no drone, has a nice deep note at idle, and a nice louder roar when i put my foot down.I have also noticed a slight increase in power, especially at higher revs when compared to original factory fitted exhaust system which had one muffler and 3 resonators fitted, and after 15 years of service the muffler was collapsed inside and the piping was also full of rust/holes.

i hate exhaust that pop and carry on when you back off. sounds horrible on a 6. on an 8 you can get away with it

Yeah it's been explained to me but the 5.0 doesn't do that on gas but does on petrol - seems odd!

Lmfao. C*** if i was allowed to use a v8 i would... plain and simple :D . If you wish to be a little grammar nazi about things then perhaps you should correct your words. ''ad a extra day off school?''
''Gday lads i jus took a piss in the ol local swimming hole down by the ol tin shed mate, f**k it was a beauty!''
