oil
oil filter
flash ECU
plugs
Grease and Lube
engine bay hose down
tighten stuff.

Apart from that i dont know what else, and yes that is a rip off. However i think ford, except some other performance places (not your regular mechanic) can only flash the ECU.

Software updates and to check if you have had it flash tuned which will void your warranty.

Thats why its important if you do use a flash tuner box that you reset it back to factory prior to sending your car to ford for servicing.

get your car serviced elsewhere, they cannot void your warranty if you get the service done by a licenced mechanic weather they work for ford or not!

i think half of that price is just for labour...
the dealerships seem to rape you with labour charges..

recently got my fathers toyota camry 75,000km serviced at toyota and they charged over $300 in labour..wtf..
next service will be done else where....

Plugs dont need to be done untill 100k kms but it wouldnt hurt to get them done. Its just a basic service really, oil, filter, air filter, make sure everything is tightened correctly, They may check brakes etc.

how oftern are plugs done? are they iridium ones? if so they are 30 bucks a piece. making approx $180 just for plugs. there is probably 2 hours labour at approx $100 an hour. they use good quality oil an BA's take like 6.6L which is like $15 a litre so like approx $100 in oil so no it isn't a rip off

Lol @ your price on plugs if anyone pays that much for plugs theyre a fool. Can get them Under $100 a set. I got mine for $55 the set and theyre iridiums.

Oil can use what you want as long as its the right spec 10w30 i think from memory, obviously the better the oil the better off your motor will be. Mine had synthetic in it when i got it and id have been up for $120 - 130 worth of oil just to do the service, i ended up using a good quality normal oil which was around $65 for 7 Litres, only needs 6.5 - 6.6 so have a little left over.

BAs dont have a 100k service... the 90k is a major and next to are minor ... (they call them A and B Service)

$600 is steep!

and for the record they can check if the car has been flash tuned whether it got the factory program or not in it when it goes for a service!!

look in u'r service booklet, it will tell you everything that will get done at 90k. ppl seem paranoid that ford check the pcm for flash tunes ect at every service, trust me they dont. they car being an 05 model means its almost 100% out of warenty (end of 08 now) unless u have extended warrenty, so y would they look for a flash tune anyway?
90k service is called a ""B" or major, but all it is extra over any other service is a new air filter and a fuel filter. $600 is extreme for a 90k, but then again i only work on the cars, i dont see the bills.
if the car is only going for a strait 90k service take it anywhere to save u'rself some money, if u have other drama's like run rough or anything in general, ford might be the better option. hope that helps a bit.

i'm talking good quality Ford Genuine Parts plug. not dieshin hungpow copies. Mazda uses FoMoCo plugs in the Mazda 3 & 6 and they are $30 a piece. and being a dealership they use good quality oil. not home brand
