good idea!

not sure if this would work, but how about cutting/grafting a snorkel to the airbox lid?
and sitting it on the lip where you have the sheet metal sitting....
you would have to cut the top of the snorkel to clear the bonnet, but i think it would work!
to seal it just run a strip of door rubber over the lip of the snorkel...

that way you dont need all the foam and it would be alot neater...

I thought about that....... but i was worried i'd ruin a perfectly good GT snorkel. This way works alright, actually looks fairly neat because the foam is darkened.

But maybe i'll have a think about extending the current snorkle all the way to the airbox :idea:

Not a bad idea, would work well with a small bonnet scoop over it.

filter to tb intake looks horn,
could be better with silicone... like most of gods fine creations....

thanks for the comments, alot of thought has gone into making it fit perfect. And suprisingly the whole thing comes off quicker than the stock intake if need be.

Ive got the whole intake for sale if anyone's interested in bolt-on performance
