High flow cat is pointless over standard! Complete waste of dough

Unless you got BOOOOST, then its needed, i have a 3" in and out cat on a 3 inch system, with a 4" dump filling it with gasses.

will get a drive by of the thing dosing when its up and running again.

agreed, when mine was a manual, with a single straight through muffler it was very loud, but with a cam it sounded ok....... now ive gone back to auto the huge drone of the revs sitting on the converter sounds horrible

last week i added a small resonator but its still there.... now looking at tucking another wide body muffler sideways inside the rear bar.

i like your sig by the way, very true !!!

yeh shes straight six, not a v8 atm, nudge nudge, im going back there today and will make another vid, have to consider, it was done at night, was cold, ecu ups the fuel and air, making it go alot better, i also have a high flow panal filter atm, which will change when i do my cai very soon, its a custom exhaust set up, 1 muffler with 2 baffles inside, is not a brand exhaust system, very very small muffler, all 2 an half inch to the unkown cat, either is a high flow or a standard one, set of motovator extractors, with 3 inch pipe from them to the cat,

that came off a worked ed motor, so i guess thats why she loud lollol

but im changing the cat to a meatl high flow one with new pipe bent etc, cost me 350 fitted

so it should change the sound heaps better

Yeah its the drone that gets me aswell, i want a more free flowing exhaust on my fairmont but probably wont worry about it, unless theres a way to have a nice quiet exhaust that flows well?

And cheers i pinched it from another forum lol, its so true though

just get 2.5" exhaust, with 3 straight through mufflers

in my car the plan is....

* small resonator
* offset straight through large body muffler before the diff
* small size wide body straight through muffler just after the diff
