I have installed the 300kpa fuel pressure reg, and am using the stock injectors.

I am however running a Tickford ECU, Pacemakers extractors, high flow cat, 2.5" exhaust, enhanced intake etc.

The difference was not huge by any means. I feel the engine is more 'solid' through out the rev range, more 'meaty'.

I also intend to install an aftermarket cam and AU injectors. So while there is a small benefit now, all the little things will come together in the end package.

Good luck finding an XR6 reg, as they are now obsolete from Ford.

Why not use the magna injectors as they are a good spray pattern and are also a high flow injector
from a TR or TS, cant remember

And why change the regulator,

You can even modify the standard regulator to a different higher pressure

Magna injectors have the same single spray pattern as the stock bosch units in the E-Falc's. They flow 24lbs (some say 26?) slightly higher again than the AU. I know for sure the TR 4cly has them, the TS may have the same?
And there even blue! (as in blue oval  )
They will en-richen the idle a fair bit though, its still ok but borderline for my likening.

I'm intrigued on this stock reg mod? do tell.

i'd go with roughly what came with a falcon only because as said before, they run as rich as hell anyway.

and this stock reg thing, you wouldnt be refering to putting a bleed off valve on the vac line would you? but as said, intrigued...

Now that'd be handy! Any chance it can be made adjustable? I think a few members would be happy to alter their regulator, be it EA-ED or EF-AU.

Can you put one together please?
